Have you got your Poppy yet?
November 11th, a day for honour, reflection, respect, and peace.
Hoping you can find some time with your families to come out to your local cenotaph for a ceremony.
If your local community is putting on a service, please email email@example.com to have it added to the main blog here.
Location: Cenotaph in Victoria Park, at the corner of Wellington Street & Dufferin Avenue
Location: A Harvard fly-over in memory of late veteran and former police chief Jim Miller will again mark the start of the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Woodstock Cenotaph Saturday.
Miller’s family has donated the funds for fly-over for several years in honour the former wartime radio operator who died in 2013.
Time: Prior to the two minutes of silence, the pre-laying of wreaths will begin at 10:30 a.m. with colour guard parade at 10:50 a.m.
