Bad drivers. Bad customer service. Rude people.
Those seem to be the top choices for our listeners, when it comes to their pet peeves.
Yesterday on the Country 104 Facebook page, we asked our listeners to share their biggest pet peeves. Here are some of the responses we heard.
Valerie Haley wrote “Negative people who complain about everything”. I loved that one.
Lynda Cross said her biggest pet peeve was “Customers who continue to talk on their phones while you are ringing through their groceries . I usually just point at the total as I wouldn’t want to interrupt their very important phone call”.
Tracy Harris has a problem with bad drivers, adding “Drivers that sit at a corner waiting to turn, see you coming then pull out but don’t get up to highway speed then you have to slow down. Drivers that pull out in front of you then turn at the next road. Drivers who are turning left with no on coming traffic, but don’t get over so you can go by them.”.
Shelley Wells-Vezsenyi added “People who can’t spell simple words. There / their / they’re. They go on a rant and I just can’t help but look at their horrible spelling!!! There is no excuse!!!”.
Amy and Doug Robertson say their biggest pet peeve is “Toilet paper put in the wrong way!!! It MUST go over the top!!!”.
Sherilyn Sanderson noted her pet peeve is “When people say “I seen….”. “I have seen,” “I’ve seen” or “I saw” are all acceptable.”.
