It’s always fun making those bucket lists as you grow up, but in actuality most people don’t follow through with it.
I have been very fortunate to have done a lot so far in my life. I have traveled all over, been to countless musical events, heck I’ve gone skydiving. But there is still more I’d like to do.
I saw a story on an 85-year old woman who is working on her bucket list now. While it’s good she’s getting to do all of those things now, wouldn’t you rather do them in the prime of your life?
Okay, let’s back up. Trish Wagstaff started doing all kinds of stunts after her husband passed away, while also raising over £150,000 over the past decade doing these stunts, but wouldn’t it have been better if she was able to experience these moments with her husband.
We all get busy with work and life, that we often don’t have an opportunity to have those experiences until later in life.
My advice, coming from somebody who has had them: get going now on your bucket list. Whether it’s seeing your favourite band live in concert, going on that amazing trip, or swimming with sharks: get going now.
