Do you love Thomas Rhett? Good. So do we. Like, a lot. While out promoting his new album, Life Changes which dropped earlier this month, we were lucky enough to have Thomas stop by our Country 105 radio station studio in Calgary where we sat him down on a couch and got to ask him some tough questions.
What is your favourite thing about Canada?
My favourite thing about Canada is definitely playing shows up there. I got to do it for the first time maybe four or five years ago and it just seems as though when we come to Canada, it’s just such a rowdy, rowdy environment! Super fun to play shows and besides that… it would be getting Timbits from Tim Hortons.
What is your pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is… is not like a huge pet peeve, but I just hate traffic. I guess that’s pretty cliche.
What is the craziest rumour you’ve heard about yourself?
… *shaking head* I don’t… I don’t really read any rumours.
What is your hidden talent or party trick?
(We can only speculate what it really is).
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure would be, like a Nicholas Sparks movie I guess *chuckling*
Where were you when you first heard your song on the radio?
I was driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and heard it on that treck through the desert. It was pretty cool!
What is the first song you learned to play?
The first song I learned to play on the guitar was, a song by Matchbox Twenty, called 3AM.
What is the first thing you do when you get home from a tour?
The first thing I do when I get home from a tour is find a new show on Netflix… or continue to binge watch the show I started with my wife when I left to go on the road.
What is your favourite vacation spot?
My favourite vacation spot would be anywhere that has a beach!
What is your best hangover cure?
Best hangover cure is Pedialyte.
