If you’ve got “a need for speed” and are a HUGE Top Gun nerd like me, then this is the weekend you’ve been waiting for all year!
Airshow London is the largest in Canada, the 3rd largest in North America and this year is being dubbed as Canada’s largest demonstration of military air power! You likely won’t be able to go anywhere in and around London without seeing & hearing these fast, loud and AWESOME aircraft…so why pass up the chance to see them up close!
If you have kids, there is a new feature just for them. The Start.ca Kids Zone has face painting, a bouncy castle and a clown…as if the fighter jets, MASSIVE planes & helicopters aren’t cool enough!
You’ll eat well as there are dozens of food trucks on-site with sandwiches, BBQ…even donuts!
As I said, for me…it’s all about the planes, so here are just a FEW of what you can see this weekend in London:
- RCAF CF-188 Hornet
- US Marine Corps F/A18
- US Navy MH-52 Sea Dragon helicopter
- US Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker
- CF-18 Demonstration Team
- Canadian Forces Snowbirds
- Canadian Skyhawks Armed Forces Parachute Team
