Yesterday was the 16th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. Ahead of their scheduled game against the Baltimore Orioles, the Blue Jays honoured the victims of the attacks, and the heroic efforts of service personnel & first responders.
London’s own Sandasha Bough, from the London Police Corporate Communications & Public Relations department, received the opportunity to sing the national anthem before the game.
I know Constable Sandash Bough from London Majors games, where she proudly represented her community by singing the national anthem at Labatt Park, and let me say, she’s really good! So I was excited to hear about this opportunity for her.
