Coming off the excitement of Canada Day and the long weekend we just enjoyed, we have a chance to reflect on how great our country is and some of the great things we’ve covered over the past few weeks to celebrate #Canada150.
We celebrated important moments in Canadian history, explored our national anthem, discovered interesting facts about our ancestry through DNA, and poked fun at some Canadian stereotypes that just happen to be true.
We quizzed ourselves to see if we could pass the Canadian citizenship test.
A lot of great things come from Canada or were invented in Canada that we explored (including Hawaiian pizza!), we looked at 50 legendary Canadian songs, Canadian celebrities, maple syrup, and our awesome entertainment exports.
But saving the best for last, we admired our incredible land and the nature surrounding us. The beauty of our breathtaking landscapes, unique hotels in gorgeous natural settings, and top natural wonders in Canada that you have to see before you die.
The fun is not over yet! There are still a lot of celebrations, events, and festivals happening in and around the city, explore them at passport2017.ca
For Country music fans in London, there was only one place to celebrate Canada 150- Trackside Music Festival. Check out some of the highlights of how YOU enjoyed the show!
