This past Friday, Weaver and I challenged ourselves to rappel down our London office building for Rope For Hope, a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
There were 65 participants from all age ranges who helped to raise $135,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. That means alot of kids will get to see their special wish come true!
Believe it or not, I wasn’t nervous at all. Most say the worst part is stepping off the ledge, but I just listened to the directions given to me and just did it. I’m not sure how long it took me to get down, but after getting locked up a couple of times, I did manage to make it down without panicking. That was huge for me!
A huge thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Rope For Hope for giving us this opportunity. If you’re interested, make sure to sign up for next year! See the details here:
