Tis the season for online shopping, but I ran into some roadblocks on the weekend. A payment wouldn’t go through and when I asked the merchant what the issue was, he said it was with my bank. One phone call later and I found out that my bank had flagged a potential issue with my credit card and froze it. Someone had used my credit info to buy something online, but technology caught up with them and stopped them in their tracks. Inconvenient yes, because I now have to wait for my new card to arrive, but thankful that no more of my hard earned money was compromised. Have you ever had that happen? I want to hear your stories.
